A lantern clock timepiece with French carriage clock type movement with a lever platform escapement in a well made English lantern clockcase with engraved and silvered chapter ring and polished brass case. 10.5 in. tall (L)
A French mantel clock by Constantin Detouche who was an associate of the famous French maker Houdin. The movement is countwheel striking on a bell and has a silk pendulum suspension. The backplate is signed and the springs are dated 1831. The clock has a silvered and engraved dial and is contained. (H)
A French four glass clock in brass case with bevelled glass sides and doors. The movement has a visible 'brocot' escapement and an Ellicott pendulum. The movement strikes on a bell. 14 in. tall overall. (M)
An Edwardian mantel clock having a French movement striking on a gong, contained in a mahogany case of Arts and Crafts design which is inlaid with boxwood ribbons and swags. The clock has a 4 in. diameter white enamel dial bearing the retailer's name "King and Co. Ltd'. 10in tall. (L)
